Long-Term Care

Our Long-Term Care (LTC) Department is dedicated to providing comprehensive pharmacy services to assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, community-based residential facilities (CBRFs), and other long-term care communities. We work closely with healthcare providers and caregivers to ensure residents receive safe, accurate, and timely medication therapy.

An additional, convenient service Smith Pharmacy offers is bubble packaging medications (including over-the-counter medications) in a monthly cycle. This allows the patient to take each dose according to the calendar. Bubble packaging organizes medications based on the frequency taken in a given day (morning, noon, evening, bedtime, etc.) It is a very helpful solution for managing multiple medications and ensuring important medications are not missed or forgotten. Customer feedback revealed that this is a helpful measure for making certain that parents or grandparents are taking their daily medications.
